I definitely forgot to write a blog for June! Last month flew by. From harvesting seeds to getting a new job, and then getting approved to vend at Seattle International Plant con, I hardly had time to think. All good things! Last month I harvested two crosses. I selfed my SKG Grey Caycee and had a very low yield. Out of about 75 berries harvested, only about 10 seeds are viable. There were a lot of runts and mushies so I determined this will probably be a better pollen parent

This month started off with many of the plants responding to the seasonal increase of light and warmth. I have been greeted with new leaves, inflos, and growth. What a interesting spring here in Washington so far! We had several 70 degree days in March, then not too long later it snowed...then yesterday it snowed AGAIN! What is going on.
